For anyone who has a 2009 Honda Fit Sport (or Base model with Sport Alloy wheels) the owner’s manual states the SC1030 cable chains will fit the 185/55 R16 tires. This tire is not listed for this type of chain, but assuming the owner’s manual for the Honda Fit 2009 is correct these should work. The Thule CS-10 075 chains are specifically listed to fit the 185/55 R16 tires. I have not tried either yet, but will update this after trying the SC1030 chains. I used this same brand (SCC chains) before on my old 96 Kia Sephia and they worked great here in Denver after an enormous snow storm. This price is a bargain compared to other brands.

Bought this for the planned ski trip into the mountain. I didn’t use it yet, but the packaging is good, the box makes it convenient for storage. It seems very easy to install too.

I’m rating this as one-star as it is only a SINGLE tire chain. Not sure what good a SINGLE tire chain does (I suppose it’s better than NO tire chain if you were caught in the snow/ice), but I expected it would have two chains.

Note that it never did actually say it came with two, but based on the advertised ‘retail’ price, it was comparable to online sites which sold chains as a pair.

Beyond that, I have never used this (and knock on wood, won’t need to), but be forewarned…

EDIT: I had made this purchase in January 2009. (The review was written much later, as I reflected at how frustrated I was about this.) Apparently it now comes with 2 chains. Based on this, I have updated my rating (and title).

In Scc 1036 specification there was listed 225/45 17 tire size(size of my tires), but this cable chain is much bigger. I pay for this chain twice more than it costs, because I live in Georgia (Not US), and it costs me 23USD+25 USD for shipping.Now a can’t return it in order to take my money back or change this chain to the correct size. Also on this item there is no option to write claim to maker or seller.
